  Two Jacob Lucas vs Loucks Jacob Lucas 1788-1830 ~ 94R1-22T (2 sources): has been added to a family that resided in New York. This same family also has a Jacob Loucks 1790–1877 ~ 277N-NS6 (17 sources). Ironically both are married to women named Jemima. The 2 sources for Jacob Lucas are census records that do not establish family relationships. I believe that this Jacob Lucas has been added to this family ( Jacob Loucks ~ L785-S7G and Catherine Keyser ~ 249S-8RX) incorrectly. Jacob and Jemima Lucas are found in South Carolina, whereas Jacob and Jemima Loucks are found in New York. Jacob and Catherine Keyser are only found in New York.
