      Ann "Died just as the day was breaking 28 Dec. 1857 and was buried at Draper. Ann was said to be a sister of Chief Washakie. During the eight years Terry lived with the tribe, he became one of Washakie's most trusted leaders. He always counciled them not to go to war with the white men. Washakie listened to him and many outbreaks were prevented. he learned the Shoeshone and Arapahoe languages. "
      Note: This eight year period was partly serving a LDS mission with the Pulispher group. They were part of the rescue team that sent provision to the Martin Handcart company at Martins Cove. They were the first to reach the stranded saints as they were already there serving a mission to the Shoshone Indians.
