      The first day of the Month of MARCH in the Year of our Lord aforesaid Admon. of the Goods and etc. of Ann Smith late of Patrington in the Diocese of York but dying in York Castle Widow deceased Intestate (as it is asserted) was granted (by decree of Court) to George Smith her Son and one of the next of kin He having been first sworn and etc. before the Reverend William Potchet Clerk by virtue of a special commission to him in that behalf directed (Saving and etc.) A Declaration was exhibited above 20 pounds and Bond is entered.
