"I Jerome Messenger Benson Senior of the county of San Diego[,] State of California Being of sound mind and desposing memory and being aware of the uncertainty of life and the surety of death do make and execute and acknowledge this my last will and testament. Giving unto the persons here in after named[,] the bequests and legacies here in specified and set forth. To Jerome M. Benson Junior[,] eighty acres of undivided interest in the Rancho of San Jacinto Viejo. To Dudley Benson[,] one hundred and fifty acres including my improvements in the aforesaid Rancho also three horses their names being Maud[,] Cate[,] and Dick.
