[He received a forty acre grant from the town of Lancaster, Mass., Jan. 26, 1714, "on the easterly side of Wecapeket Brook," (west side of George Hill.] Will dated Mar. 9, 1726, proved Mar. 28, 1735 (lodged Apr. 10, 1732), making his age at decease 86.

      See READE or REED DESCENDANTS by Fanny Steed Meadows. This Henry was "said" to be the father of Mabel KENDALL. This connection is not certain. His wife's name is not known but she was the dau of Henry SACHERELL of Radcliffe. Henry was 39 years old when he died in 1627. Another source: THE KENDALL JOURNAL KITH & KIN--KEN. GEN. by Irma Rich says that instead of Henry, the father of Mabel KENDALL was named JOHN KENDALL born about 1580-3 (instead of 1588) in Bedford or Smithesby, Norfolk, England and died 21 Mar 1660 in Cambridge, Mass. This record says that his parents were John KENDALL and Mary MILES. Further, it gives his wife's name as "Elizabeth" but does not give her last name. They were married bef 1605 and lists 5 children. This latter record seems more accurate but one cannot tell for certain so both reports are given here.
