FHL Film #1305709 ref. 1113 NATHAN FERRIS b. 22 Oct 1684, Stamford CT. Children: 1. Nathan Ferris b. 1734, d. 24 Jun 1808, m. Abigail Husted 2. Joseph Ferris d. 18 Dec 1756. "Formerly of Poundridge. Died at 'New Filford', possibly meant to be either New Milford or New Fairfield, on his return from the expidition toward Crown Point. Scofield Will dated 26 Apr 1756, proved 3 Mar 1757, named brothers Nathan, David, Peter and John. Also mentioned Ransford Avery, son of his brother, Peter. Nathan and David were named coexecutors. Recorded in 1714, Nathan refused executorship, the 'other executor/brother being gone to sea' John Ferris was then named executor with will annexed. (Scofield) 3. Peter Ferris b. ca 1738, m.
