      According to: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ctfairfi/stamford/knapp_data2.htm Many of the early Drake Pioneers and their families were buried in the Mongaup Cemetery. When the Rio Dam was built in 1926, those buried in the Mongaup Cemetery were exhumed and reburied at the Lower Mongaup Cemetery, near where the Mongaup River flows into the Delaware River. Among those headstones still legible are the stones of Zephaniah Drake, Sr, his sons and their families. As far as is known there were no children born of his second marriage to Widow Hannah (Knapp) Owens.
