Wrong John Gaylord listed as husband Not sure why this file is locked up and can not be edited. Elizabeth Terry was married to John C Gaylord. He being born in 1797 in Lurzern County Pennsylvania. She was not married to the John Gaylord who was born in 1779 in CT. For some reason the two John Gaylords have been merged into one by people. If they would have bothered to look at the records and timelines they would have noticed that the John Gaylord (1779), who was married to Joanna Bagg, was not the John C Gaylord who was born in PA, married in NY, had his children born in NY, became a member of the LDS church in NY. Moved his family to Kirtland and then to Knox Co. IL where Elizabeth died and he then married Elvira Gray Edmonds, widow of William Edmonds. The other John Gaylord, husband of Joanna Bagg never left Portage Co Ohio. That John can be found there in the records. Please do not confuse the two.
