Ephraim was a trooper in King Philip's War in 1675, credited with service with Captain Nicholas Paiges Company on September 3, 1675 where he participated on an expedition to Mount Hope and Narraganset.
He was credited with 2 pounds on August 23, 1675 in the Mt. Hope campaign of Capt Nicholas Paige and his troop. He was also credited 3 pounds 9 shillings for services with Captain Whipple's Company on August 24, 1676.
