  FIRST WIFE IS UNKNOWN His first wife was the mother of Hester, since she was born in 1628, and probably 3 or 4 other children. (Most likely, John, Christopher and Nathaniel, but no proof is available.) The children's birth dates are not known and can only be estimated from marriage dates.
