HISTORY OF NEW LONDON, Caulkins, 1860, pg. 371: m. Sarah, dau. of Greenfield Larrabee, 2 Jun 1678. They had a son John, b. 1 Jun 1680, who d. 12-12-1711, leaving a wife, Elizabeth, but no children. They had other sons & daus., but all died without issue, except Benjamin. In a deed of 1718, he calls Benjamin, "my only child which it hath pleased God to continue in the land of the liv- ing." John Fox m. 2. Hannah, relict of Thos. Stedman; 3. Mary, dau. of Daniel Lester 2d. His last wife was 50 years younger than himself, and granddaughter to his sister. UNKNOWN SOURCE: m.
