  At age 15 he chose his stepfather, Disbrow or Disborough Spencer as his guardian. He was married to Sarah Arnold Case. "Keeney Update Newsletter" Vol XVII "Keeney Update Newsletter" Vol XVII, No. 2 Spring 2000 pg. 9. Inventory of the estate of John Case of Glastonbury was taken on July 1, 1749 by Jonathan Webster of Glastonbury and Timothy Porter, Jr., of Hartford.
