      #1 Soldier in the Revolution in the 14th Albany County regiment, Captain Mathais Button's Company. They lived near Hoosick, N.Y., and came to Pompey in 1797. Their burial is not kown.

      #2 Elizabeth Benson was a daughter of Stutson and Bathsheba [Lewis] Benson. She was probably born in Dutchess county, New York. She married William Marsh on 14 September 1779 in Renesselaer County. William was born 13 March 1754. Not much else is presently known about William Marsh. He was a member of the same militia unit as Stutson Benson. William and Elizabeth lived near Hoosick, New York and then Mayfield, New York before moving to Pompey Township, Onondaga county, New York in 1797. They had 10 children.
