Dear Debra, I don't remember working on Nicholas Whitford, but I probably looked at him a long time ago. His wife Mary Carr is suposedly the daughter of Phillipa (Greene) and Caleb Carr. According to the book "The Greenes of Rhode Island" this couple had a daughter named Mary but there was no further record for her. Here is a link to the book online:
