  Rootsweb.com Robert Spink (Immigrant Robert Spink) sailed from London in 1635 on the ship "Speedwell" bound for Virginia. From 1648 to 1665 he was in Newport and Portsmouth, Rhode Island. He resided in 1665 in Quidnesset, Rhode Island. In 1665 he purchased an estate in Quidnesset south of Davisville docks on Narragansett Bay shoreline.
