      Before coming west from Nauvoo, he was a

      & came west with one of the last handcart companies with Captain George Riley.
      Upon arrival, President Brigham Young directed them to settle in Ogden. They
      named their lane "Wilson Lane". After many yrs there, they moved to Farmington.
