      All of the research points to Eleanor being one of 5 wives to Lorenzo Young. There is no record of her being married to anyone else including Levi Richards, however for some reason he has often been attached to her with the same marriage date as Lorenzo.

      Hattie Young Sorenson gave this information on the wives of Lorenzo D. Young: Hannah was the weaver, Joanna the seamstress, Ellen the gardener, Harriet was known as "mother in town" and was the boss, Persis was separated.

      From the newspaper, Vernal Express Feb. 9, 1912: "Aunt Ellen Young Laid To Rest", Ellen Young died Feb. 3, 1912 at the home of her son E.J. Young, born Sept. 15, 1830, joined the church in Wales, and started for America April 6, 1856 and arrived in the Great Salt Lake in the fall of that year. She married Lorenzo D. Young, had three sons and one daughter. Only two sons survived."For many years she and her children lived at the point of the mountain half way between Salt Lake and Tooele where they operated a large ranch and station. Later they lived at the Young home at 11 E. between 9th and 10th South Salt Lake City until 1897 when they came to Vernal, which has since been their home."
