  From the Bishop's Transcripts in the Nat From the Bishop's Transcripts in the National Library of Wales, provided and reserached by Michele Gregory, Evan Bevan born August 2 1722 in Llandeilo'r Fan he married Magdalena Jones (born July 30th, 1724 in Llandeilo'r Fan) on May 1st, 1746 in Llandeilo'r Fan. When they married the surname was spelt Boavan, although christened Magdalena at her marriage her name was spelt Magdalene. Evan Bevan's father was Morgan Bevan and it was spelt this way at his christening
