Need Documentation on "Mary Sarah" Farmer
There is no current documentation for a "Mary Sarah" Farmer as a daughter of Henry Farmer and Sarah Ward. Coonrod (p. 3) citing Ellery Farmer indicates a "Mary" Farmer. And marriage records confirm a "Mary" Farmer born 1733-34. More information on the 1723 birth date and the middle name "Sarah" would be greatly appreciated. It is possible that records LD5W-9QL and GQY8-14Q could someday be merged to show only one Mary Farmer.

Clear Errors in Record of Mary Sarah Farmer Ratcliff
There are currently many questionable entries in the record of Mary Sarah Farmer Ratcliff which need to be resolved and where documentation would greatly help. If Mary Sarah wed Moses Ratcliff in 1762, it is not likely that she bore Elizabeth Ratcliff in 1755 or 1760. Second, if Mary Sarah died in 1770, then she could not have born children after that date. Third, there is a possibility that Mary and Ann Farmer of North Carolina (of unknown parentage) have been confused with Mary and Ann Farmer, the daughters of Henry and Sarah Ward Farmer of Virginia. There were MANY Farmer families in North Carolina in the 1700s; and Mary and Ann are very common names. That Mary Sarah seems to have had a son called Elam is "interesting". But Mary Sarah died before Elam was purportedly born. So there is no tie to bind these speculations together.
