Deceased) Death*: 3 October 1722; St Stephens, Richmond Co., Virginia, USA; On December 23, 1723 Elizabeth Wells, Matthew Burroes, and John Davis received a bond in Richmond County for 100 pounds sterling swearing that they would correctly serve as administrators of Stephen Wells' estate. Elizabeth, the administratrix of the estate was to make an inventory of the goods, chattles, and credits of Stephen Well's estate. An abstract of the will made by Stephen Wells, planter in Sittenbourne Parish of Richmond County, was recorded in Deed Book VIII on page 108 and recorded on October 3, 1722.
