    • Elizabeth Fiske wife of John Russell carpenter/housewright of Cambridge and Lexington
      Elizabeth was the daughter of David Fiske and his 2nd wife Seaborn Wilson. She was born about 1656.
      Elizabeth Fiske, d. of David and Seaborne, bp. ____, 16__. C.R.I. Vital Records of Cambridge p. 254, births. Elizabeth and Sarah Fiske, ch. of David and Seaborn (2d wf.), both bp. before 1658. From Church of Christ in Cambridge record. Lexington, Mass. Records of Births, Marriages, and Deaths. Record of Births, p. 26.

      Elizabeth was named in the will of her grandfather, Theophilus Wilson, as Elizabeth Russell along with two other cousins, Elizabeth Lovel, and Thomas Pindar.

      No marriage record has been found for her and her husband John Russell. Histories vary in information about their family which causes confusion. Not all their children show up recorded in the records. Three children born in Boston, Mary, 1669, John, 1671, and Thomas, 1673, are sometimes attributed to them, but Elizabeth would have been extremely young to marry, age 12, and I find no records that show they lived in Boston.

      After Seaborn's death another agreement was made 23 Feb 1721 between John and Elizabeth Russell, Henry and Abigail Baldwyn, children of Left David Fiske, late of Lexington, deceased, and Timothy Carter of Charlestown in ye office of an attorney and trustee for Timothy Carter of Woburn his father the children of sd Timothy Carter. descendants from the sd David Fisk deceased, and between david Fisk of Lexington, only son of the sd deceased

      Elizabeth died after 5 Jan 1731/2 when she and her husband personally appeared and acknowledged a deed dated 10 Dec 1731. They sold property in Lexington to William Holmes. John signed with a mark. Elizabeth signed her name. Middlesex deed 34:260.
