About his life.
Henry H. Wilson was born in Milton, Chtndn County, Vermont. His family settled in Richland County, Ohio in the 1830's. He along with his parents and 6 brothers received the restored gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by Elders Milroy and Sherwood in Richland, Ohio and were baptized in 1836. With his family, he endured the persecution of that period and took refuge in Nauvoo, Illinois. There, at the age of 37, he Married Frances Kelly in 1840 , She was 24 yrs of age and a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints from Tennessee. Their marriage was solemnized in the Nauvoo Temple on January 20, 1846. They soon left Nauvoo and made the trek to Salt Lake City.
Henry and Frances and 5 of their children travelled from Illinois in the 1851 David Lewis Company. They left the east on 1 May 1851 and Arrived in SLC 9 September 1851 Although this company was initially organized as part of the 3rd Fifty in the John G Smith company it travelled independently and reached Salt Lake Valley in advance of all the 1851 organized companies. The family then left SLC for Dixie in 1862 becoming a Pioneer family of Washington County. Later they settled in St. George. They are the parents of Ephraim Wilson. findagrave.com

Ordinances - early history
ORDINANCES: Baptized May 23, 1836 in Green Twp, Richland County, Ohio by Oliver Granger; ordained an Elder by Don Carlos Smith (the youngest brother of Joseph Smith). Ordained in Kirtland, Ohio on 15 August 1836 while he and his brother, Lewis Dunbar Wilson were in Kirtland for a couple of months; Ordained a High Priest in Nauvoo on December 1, 1844 by Noah Packard. Served as President of the High Priests Quorum in Nauvoo. Ordained a Seventy in Quincy, Illinois May 23, 1839 by Joseph Young.

Henry was called upon to go to the Wisconsin pinery with Captain Alpheus Cutler, September 29, 1841; absent about 11 months to get lumber for the Nauvoo Temple and the Mansion home. In April 1844 he was called to go forth with the views and policies of Joseph Smith on government. He settled at Little Cottonwood, where he was set apart as second counselor to Bishop Silas Richards of the Little Cottonwood ward, now the Union ward in Salt Lake County.

From Henry Hardy Wilson's autobiographical account, we gain additional insight into the sacrifices offered during these years. "I was in Far West when Joseph [Smith] received the revelation on consecration which called for all the surplus property we had. I deeded over $500 worth of property to Bishop Partridge and I gave him a certificate to say that I had received full value. I went on a mission to the State of Illinois and returned to Far West after traveling 400 miles. As I returned I met several fleeing from Missouri to Illinois. The same winter I emigrated from Missouri to Illinois."

Last Name
William Willson was one of the first Willson’s to change their name to Willson instead of Wilson. This is a fact, however I do not know why. If anyone can figure out that would be fantastic.

Judith/Judeth
In church records for Stonington CT (found at Ancestry.com) her name was spelled "Judeth" - but spelling was not "fixed" then the way it is today... Her name was given as JUDITH when she married. But in any event, her name was not "JUDAH" - if she's YOUR ancestor, you might want to clear up all the "Alternative Birth Name" clutter above.

Warren Foote journal
January 17th 1878 George started back home, and I fixed up things in our room. After I got the "Foote Genealogy" I wrote to Timothy Foote at Nephi, informing him of it and invited him or some of his family to meet me in St. George this winter and work with me in the Temple. Just before I left home I received a letter from his sister Lucia Foote informing me that she was in St. George and would be glad to join me in working for our dead relatives. I went to see her today, to let her know that I had come and would commence work next week. I found that she was several years older than myself and that she was one of Joseph Smith's wives.
